COVID-19 Pandemic: BAPS Charities Donates $4,000 to the Hopelink in Seattle, WA

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic affects every aspect of human life, BAPS Charities continues to answer the call to action by providing services and support for diverse communities across the world in a spirit of selfless service.

On May 22, 2020, BAPS Charities showed their support for the remarkable service provided by Hopelink in Seattle, WA with a donation of $4,000.

Hopelink is a nonprofit social services agency moving families and individuals from crisis to self-sufficiency in the north and east King County, Washington. The Development Director for Operations at Hopelink, Barbara Hagel, expressed her sincere gratitude on behalf of Hopelink “Thank you again for everything you are doing for our local and world community to get through this crisis.”

Appreciating the donation, Washington State Senator Manka Dhingra said, “In times of crisis, it is so heartwarming to see the community come together to support each other. Civic organizations like BAPS Charities are critical to the resiliency of our country, especially in these unprecedented times, to knit the fabric of our society together by supporting people in need. The help that BAPS Charities has given to the health system in my community has been a crucial part of our response to the coronavirus pandemic.”
