BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Seattle, WA

On May 31, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Seattle, WA, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Redmond Fire Department, raising awareness of their vital work in firefighting, emergency medical response, and community outreach—while promoting a spirit of service and well-being.

With over 150 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Mayor Angela Birney of Redmond, Consul General of India in Seattle Mr. Prakash Gupta, and State Senator Vandana Slatter, who all joined in solidarity for the cause.

The BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Seattle is one of more than 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact by supporting important causes and fostering unity through service.
