On Saturday, November 15, 2025, BAPS Charities volunteers joined efforts with Sustainable Sharon Coalition (SSC) members and area residents to “Rake the Lake”, an event led by the Lake Massapoag Advisory Committee (LMAC). Together, the group of volunteers removed 55 large bags of leaves and weeds from the Lake Massapoag shoreline, leaving a visible impact to the shoreline while preventing ecological damage to the lake from decomposition. The effort not only provided tangible results but also fostered unity and compassion among the various volunteers who joined the event.
BAPS Charities remains committed to selfless service and sustainability, actively partnering with civic organizations to create a lasting impact for the community. Through this effort, volunteers not only improved the local environment but also promoted community responsibility.
