BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Sterling Heights, MI

On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Sterling Heights, Michigan, for its annual Spirit of Service: Walk-Run. This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Sterling Heights Public Library, advancing its mission to foster innovative living through literacy, discovery, and community engagement. The walk helped promote the development of an inclusive and connected community where all can discover, learn, and grow.

With over 270 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Michigan State Senator Michael Webber, who represents the 9th Senate District, Michigan State Representative Thomas Kuhn, and several Sterling Heights City Council members, all of whom joined in solidarity for the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Anneliese White from the Sterling Heights Public Library shared, “I am very impressed by the contribution of BAPS Charities to the Sterling Heights community and the youth leadership supporting this event.”

The BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Sterling Heights is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For more than 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized over 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting vital causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
