Founded in 2008, “People For Parks Foundation of Lake in the Hills” is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the community’s Parks & Recreation programs and facilities. Our mission includes providing scholarships to help ensure all residents have access to enriching recreational opportunities. We raise funds through private donations, business sponsorships, and the efforts of our dedicated board members and volunteers. Since our founding, we’ve helped approximately 100 families participate in programs they otherwise couldn’t afford — including Funtasticamp summer day camp, preschool, gymnastics, martial arts, youth sports, and more.
