The Nature Conservancy and Family Service League organized by BAPS Charities. This year, BAPS Charities will support The Nature Conservancy’s efforts to plant and restore over 1.6 million acres of land by planting one billion trees by 2025 through their Plant a Billion Trees initiative. Join over 23,000 walkers in over 70 cities in North America and help us support the planting of 130,000 trees in 2018. Family Service League helps individuals, children, and families to mobilize their strengths and improve the quality of their lives at home, in the workplace, and in the community. Today, more than 50,000 individuals in need, from newborns to centenarians. Help me to help their organization who operates over 60 social service programs in more than 20 locations, situated primarily in Long Island.

Project Excel is a is a 501 (c ) (3)funded by the Town of Huntington Youth Bureau, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the Suffolk County Youth Bureau, various grants, fundraisers and private donations. Project Excel seeks to provide all youth in the Town of Huntington with enrichment programs in the areas of the Arts, Life skill, Education and Employment. All programs are free of charge.

Mothers Club of Wheatley Heights

The Mothers Club of Wheatley Heights was organized in 1980 as the result of the closing of the Taukomas Elementary School. Taukomas was a neighborhood school which was closed because of a disproportionate minority population (23%) and declining enrollment in the Half Hollow Hills School District.
