BAPS Charities and Stony Brook Medicine Deliver 264 Free Preventative Health Screenings in Melville, NY

BAPS Charities, in partnership with Stony Brook Medicine, hosted a community health fair on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Long Island, New York. The initiative provided 264 free preventive health screenings to community members, reflecting both organizations’ shared commitment to public health and early detection. Medical volunteers and qualified professionals from Stony Brook Medicine supported attendees throughout the day, helping ensure that essential screenings and health information were accessible to all.

The health fair focused on key health indicators and conducted 264 screenings, including 113 cholesterol point-of-care blood tests, 105 blood pressure checks, and 46 Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood tests. By emphasizing cholesterol, blood pressure, and PSA screenings, the camp aimed to empower individuals with timely information that supports early detection and proactive management of overall well-being.
