On Saturday, 19th September 2026, BAPS Charities Nairobi Chapter donated food and school supplies to Compassionate Hands for the Disabled Foundation (CHDF) in Ruai, Nairobi. The donation was part of the Million Meals Project.
CHDF is a community school. It supports 120 underprivileged and disabled children. Many of the children depend on the school for their daily meals. CHDF reached out to BAPS Charities for food support.
BAPS Charities donated rice, beans, green grams, maize meal, wimbi, salt, cooking fat and biscuits. The food will provide around 1,600 meals for the children.
The donations also included items to support the children’s care and education. These included sanitary pads, scissors, coloured pencils, erasers and zippered pencil pouches. Candles and clothing were also donated.
BAPS Charities appreciated the CHDF team for their continued service as their work supports many children in the community. BAPS Charities Nairobi is glad to support them through the Million Meals Project. The donation will help keep the children well fed and ready to learn.
