COVID-19 Pandemic: BAPS Charities donates to Island Harvest in Long Island, NY

While the devastating impact on people’s lives and health due to COVID-19 has made 2021 a challenging year, the prolonged pandemic has also impacted many financially. In response to challenges brought by the rise in COVID-19 cases from the Delta & Omicron variant, BAPS Charities donated $2,000 to Island Harvest, a food bank for Long Island, to provide food for needy families.

“We are very thankful to BAPS Charities for thinking about the local community and us. We really appreciate the effort during this difficult time of COVID-19,” said Jaime Franchi, Government Relations Liaison, who accepted donations on behalf of Island Harvest.
