COVID-19 Pandemic: BAPS Charities Donates $3,000 to Englewood Health Foundation, Englewood, NJ

Health care facilities continue to experience COVID-19 patient surges coupled with material and staff shortages. In the United States, New Jersey has been heavily affected by the pandemic with over 100,000 positive cases. On April 23, 2020, BAPS Charities supported the remarkable work taking place at the Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ, by donating $3,000 to the Englewood Health Foundation. Englewood Health serves Bergen County, NJ, which is the COVID-19 epicenter of the state.

Due to the severity of the situation at Englewood Health, the organization’s leadership remotely shared their appreciation for the donation. Debra Albanese, Executive Vice President, said, “Thank you for your generosity during these difficult times. We very much appreciate all that you have done on behalf of Englewood Health and the communities that it serves.”

Melissa M. Gagnon, Director of Special Events & Community Giving, stated, “All at Englewood Health and the Foundation sincerely thank you and BAPS Charities for your very generous donation.
