BAPS Charities celebrates Earth Day with Tree Planting in Kinale Forest, Kenya – April, 2026

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, in celebration of Earth Day, BAPS Charities organized a tree-planting drive in the Kinale forest, located in Kiambu County, Kenya. The initiative highlighted the importance of protecting the environment through simple, collective action.

BAPS Charities partnered with KENVO (Kenya Environmental Volunteers Organization) to plant 2,000 trees. The goal was to restore forest cover and support the local ecosystem. The effort also aimed to improve biodiversity and strengthen natural habitats.

Volunteers of all ages took part in the exercise. They worked together to plant and nurture the young trees. Their involvement showed a strong sense of responsibility and care for the environment. It encouraged teamwork and community spirit. The drive also created awareness about environmental challenges, reminding volunteers of the need to protect natural resources.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of BAPS Charities to serve society. It focuses on projects that support sustainability and community well-being. Through such efforts, the organization encourages people to take action and care for the planet.

Earth Day serves as a reminder that protecting the environment is an ongoing duty. It is not limited to one day. Through consistent action and awareness, communities can build a greener and more sustainable future.
