BAPS Charities Tanzania is pleased to announce the receipt of a pledge of US $38000(Tshs 83,600,000/-) from the trustees of the Youth Welfare Trust, who visited the heart patients BAPS Charities is sponsoring at Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Center in Muhimbili National Hospital.
Mr.Paresh Manek, Mr.Vipul Vithlani and Mr.Shetul Batavia were given a tour in the cardiac wards of children and were briefed on the heart related problems affecting the children in Tanzania by Dk. Mohammed Janabi.
The tour and briefing made an impact on these trustees of the Youth Welfare Trust leading them to pledge the above said amount. With this additional funding, BAPS Charities will be able to sponsor an additional 38 heart surgeries as a part of our ongoing program to assist and sponsor needy children with these life saving cardiac surgeries.
