COVID-19: BAPS Charities Tanzania Donates Hand Sanitizers and Hand Washing Tanks & Basins for Food Vendors

In the fight of Preventing from COVID19 , Volunteers of BAPS Charities Dar es Salaam , organised a drive to hand over sanitizers to over 350 vegetable and food vendors in Mbagala Kizuani market . Mbagala is an administrative ward in the Temeke district of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. The ward lies 23 kilometers south of the Dar es Salaam city centre. Upon reaching the market , the volunteers were received by Hon Issa Mangungu , the member of Parliament representing the Mbagala ward accompanied with other government officials. Baps Charities also handed over three 200 litres water tank , fitted with water tap, basin and waste water collection bucket to Hon. Mangungu and the leadership of the market. The volunteers of BAPS Charities visited each vegetable /food vendor at their tables and demonstrated the use of sanitizers before handing them a bottle. On behalf of the Mbagala Kizuani market, the member of parliament Hon.Mangungu appreciated BAPS Charities wholeheartedly for their timely assistance in the difficult times of Corona virus ( Covid 19).
