BAPS Charities UK organised the Yogi Yuva Cup, an indoor cricket tournament for young people, on Sunday 19 April 2026 at Harrow Leisure Centre and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London.
The event brought together more than 300 participants representing 32 teams from communities across the UK for a day filled with competitive cricket, teamwork, and community spirit.
The group-stage fixtures showcased impressive talent, coordination, and tactical play, with every match delivering excitement and intensity. As the tournament progressed, the competition intensified as the top two teams from each group vied to secure their place in the knockout rounds.
Following a succession of hard-fought encounters, Wellingborough A claimed the championship title after defeating a determined Barnet A side in the final. Himanshu Depala of Barnet was recognised as Best Bowler for his outstanding performances, while Wellingborough’s Pritesh Patel received the Best Batsman award for his consistent contributions throughout the tournament.
Once again, the Yogi Yuva Cup proved to be a wonderful platform for bringing together participants from across the country, fostering unity, friendship, and a shared passion for cricket in the spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect.
