BAPS Charities Holds Women’s Health Awareness Lecture to Promote Exercise in Hartford, CT

Human life is becoming increasingly more sedentary with the advent of technology and innovation. This poses a risk to one’s health due to a lack of physical movement or exercise. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 adults do not meet the global recommended physical activity levels. Incorporating exercise into one’s daily routine can lead to improved sleep, lowered anxiety, lowered blood pressure, improved cognitive functioning, improved heart health, and even reduced cancer risk.

To raise awareness regarding the benefits of exercise and ways to incorporate it into one’s routine, BAPS Charities organized a health awareness lecture in Hartford, CT, on April 16, 2023. Mrs. Kajal Patel presented the lecture while focusing on the holistic benefits of physical movement, and Mrs. Nikki Patwa motivated the attendees, to begin with small, consistent steps.
