Health Awareness Lecture on High Cholesterol in Hartford, CT

High cholesterol affects 42 million Americans, and 63 million more have borderline high cholesterol. High blood cholesterol is one of the major risk factors for heart disease. High blood cholesterol itself does not cause any symptom so many people are unaware that their cholesterol level is too high.

BAPS Charities organized a lecture on High Cholesterol on September 25, 2011 at over 50 centers in North America to educate the participants on the cholesterol types, target cholesterol levels, what causes high cholesterol and how to control it.
