BAPS Charities Healthcare Professionals Conference 2025, Houston, TX

From June 12–15, 2025, the inaugural BAPS Charities Healthcare Professionals Conference (HPC25) brought together 1,150 delegates from more than 30 healthcare disciplines in Houston, Texas. In this landmark gathering, professionals united not only to advance clinical knowledge but to rediscover the heart of why they entered healthcare. The conference featured 9 breakout tracks, 60+ speakers and facilitators, and offered up to 14 continuing education (CE/CME) credits across multiple specialties. Guided by the theme ‘Enrich, Explore, Empower’, the conference offered a dynamic blend of scientific rigor, meaningful dialogue, and soulful reflection.

In addition to the plenary sessions, HPC25 hosted specialty-specific breakout tracks tailored to the interests and needs of attendees. Tracks included medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, public health, optometry, and more. A dedicated track for students and residents provided mentorship, career guidance, and networking. Each session aligned with the theme to help professionals elevate both their clinical impact and personal growth.

Enrich: Inspiring Personal Growth

Sessions under the Enrich theme focused on aligning career, family, and personal values. From practical tips on resilience to reflections on how personal integrity can enhance clinical leadership, attendees were encouraged to grow as both professionals and people. As Dr. Yagnesh Dave from Atlanta shared, “This conference was more about what to do with myself—how to become a better physician to treat my patients.”

Explore: Elevating Clinical Excellence

The Explore track featured CE-accredited sessions across diverse topics, ranging from artificial intelligence in healthcare to health equity, clinical burnout, and emerging innovations. Unlike most specialty-specific conferences, HPC25 offered cross-disciplinary continuing education credits for physicians, dentists, pharmacists, advanced practice clinicians, and therapists—making it one of the most inclusive forums of its kind.

Empower: Leading with Purpose

The Empower track spotlighted purpose-driven leadership, encouraging delegates to elevate others while staying anchored in compassion and integrity. Panel discussions focused on mentorship, community engagement, and leaving a legacy of service. As one attendee noted, “Every patient you treat is divine, and every life you save is divine.”

Keynote Highlight: Jason Glover

Jason Glover, CEO of Memorial Hermann TMC, delivered the keynote address on “The Power of Compassionate Care.” He emphasized the importance of human connectedness in care delivery, sharing his personal philosophy grounded in the “Four L’s”: Love, Learn, Little things matter, and Larger than each of us. His message underscored that technology and systems should always elevate the human experience, not overshadow it.

Breakout Sessions: Building Community

Beyond the main plenary sessions, HPC25 hosted breakout sessions tailored to specific specialties, including residents, medical students, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and therapists. These sessions created spaces for targeted peer dialogue, mentorship, and regional collaboration. Regional breakout discussions encouraged attendees to explore how they can support local initiatives and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Seva & Global Outreach

Delegates also learned about service-based internships and global outreach programs in India. These initiatives reaffirmed BAPS Charities’ commitment to applying professional skills for humanitarian good, creating channels for volunteers to serve through meaningful projects around the world.

As delegates return to their hospitals, clinics, and communities, many carry a renewed commitment to deliver care with not just excellence but empathy. HPC25 proved that when compassion guides technology and values shape leadership, healthcare becomes more than a profession—it becomes a service rooted in humanity.
