BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Lansdale, PA

On May 31, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Lansdale, PA, for its annual Spirit of Service: Walk-Run. This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Autism Cares Foundation and Liz’s Birthday Closet, raising awareness for children with special needs and those facing hardship. The walk promoted a spirit of compassion, service, and community well-being.

With nearly 550 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including several distinguished guests: Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, State Senator Maria Collett, State Representative Steve Malagari, Montgomery County Commissioner Neil Makhija, and Hatfield Township Commissioner Tom Zipfel, along with other local leaders, who joined in solidarity for the cause.

Reflecting on the day’s impact, Sina Cristinzio, Executive Director of Liz’s Birthday Closet, shared: “The donation made today by BAPS Charities will greatly help us. We currently have over 350 children in need, and this support will allow us to purchase toys, books, new clothes—everything necessary to serve these families.”

We’ve been providing care for 18 years, and each year we support more than 200 children, teens, and adults living with autism and other cognitive and social disabilities.”
