Lighthouse For The Blind & Vision Impaired

Since the 30’s, San Antonio Lighthouse of the Blind participates in multiple programs throughout San Antonio assisting visually impaired individuals to gain their independence. The organization supports our troops through contracts with the military creating uniforms, helmet chin straps, writing utensils, and oil analysis kits. They operate an extensive senior center in San Antonio and the surrounding areas for the blind and visually impaired over the age of 50. The Lighthouse functions as the one stop shop for the blind in San Antonio.
