On June 24th 2025, BAPS Charities Nairobi Ladies Wing Supports Britons Community and Orphanage School Nairobi.
As part of our ongoing commitment to serve and uplift communities, BAPS Charities Nairobi was humbled to support Britons Community and Orphanage School located in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums. The school, established in 2009, provides education and care to vulnerable children, many of whom have gone on to join high schools and universities despite difficult beginnings.
To assist their efforts, BAPS Charities donated a range of essential supplies including:
• 603 kg of staple food items (198 kg maize meal, 130 kg rice, 70 kg sugar, 38 kg cooking fat, 40 kg salt, 40 kg white flour, 40 kg uji porridge flour, 7 kg tea leaves, 20 kg red beans, 20 kg green grams)
• 30 boxes of biscuits
• 5 cartons of sanitary towels
• 2 boxes of mosquito nets
• 6 boxes of school stationary and clothes
The donations were received by students, teachers, and Geoffrey Onchieku who leads the school’s programs. They expressed their sincere gratitude and emphasized the positive impact this support will have on the children’s education and daily well-being.
BAPS Charities remains committed to working with grassroots organizations like Britons School to bring hope and support where it’s needed most.
