In the month of May, 2026, BAPS Charities chapters across Kenya came together for a nationwide blood donation drive, collecting a total of 514 pints of blood to support hospitals and patients across the country.
The campaign was organized in partnership with the Kenya Blood Transfusion and Transplant Service as part of BAPS Charities’ ongoing efforts to support community healthcare and encourage regular blood donation. Blood donations remain essential for emergency treatment, surgeries, maternal care, and patients requiring urgent transfusions.
This year’s drive saw participation from 11 BAPS Charities chapters across Kenya, with the following collections recorded:

4. Nakuru – 38
5. Mombasa – 32
6. Thika – 32
7. Bomet – 20
8. Kisumu – 20
9. Kakamega – 19
10. Kerugoya – 8
