Between 2 and 3 May 2020, BAPS Charities volunteers in Durban handed out over 30 parcels of food hampers to families in need in the Isipingo area, south of Durban. In addition, over 20 hampers were handed out to families in Shallcross, Chatsworth, Phoenix, Verulam, Asherville and Durban central. More hampers will be handed out during the course of the week.
In addition to the above, over 500 face shields were donated to the Durban Magistrates court in conjunction with the KZN International Business Forum to assist staff during the lockdown period.
