BAPS Charities Tanzania. Extends Support to Children Battling Cancer and Cardiac Diseases
On 14th September 2025, BAPS Charities Tanzania reaffirmed its commitment to supporting children in need by extending vital assistance to pediatric patients battling cancer and cardiac diseases.
As part of this initiative:
BAPS CHARITIES team visited the Pediatric Cancer Ward at Muhimbili National Hospital, where Tumaini La Maisha (TLM), an NGO dedicated to pediatric cancer care who are Partnered with Various Hospitals in Tanzania, Muhimbili being one of those. Here we proudly donated the first quarter installment of TZS 50 million to support ongoing treatment and care.
On the same day, we visited the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute ( JKCI),, where BAPS Charities pledged a total of TZS 250 million towards funding life-saving heart surgeries for children in need.
These efforts reflect our unwavering dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable children across Tanzania.
